We chose the song “Love the Way You Lie” by Eminem and Rihanna because it explores the emotional complexity of a relationship marked by intensity, passion, and constant struggle. It reflects how love and pain can be together, and that violence is not always just physical, but also psychological and emotional. Moreover, it shows how there can be a strong dependency between the victim and the aggressor.
